But the shop is new and only available for 6.5, isn’t it? And I’m pretty fed up with my Windows Mobile 6.

I guess I need a change and now that there are alternatives to Windows Mobile (which weren’t there 2 years ago) I might as well use Linux on my phone as I’m already using Linux on my PCs.

There is a centralized shop for the Windows Mobile system. And the user interface of the new generation mobile phones has improved. Had a chance to play with a phone at TechEd last week and thought it was better then my iPhone 3G.

Then, the question is what “premium stores” are. Actually nokia.de has been saying the 25th for quite some time, even before there was a date for UK or US.
Hopefully, it arrives soon.

Just got the mail that N900 shipment started to “premium stores”.
But at the german nokia site, there’s still only the preorder option with a notice that it will arrive at the 25th of November, more or less.

Yes, right, I didn’t mean to say that Android brings you the whole Linux experience. But for what I understand, it’s runs on the Linux kernel.
That’s what I wanted to say and for me that is still better than no Linux at all.

It always amuses me that everyone seems to think that Android is a Linux OS. But as anyone who investigates a bit can plainly see it is not at all normal Linux.
